A blacklist is a database of known server IP addresses used by persons or companies who have been flagged for sending spam. Many ESP's allow their customers to upload new mailing lists on a regular basis this makes them vulnerable to blacklisting.
In order to run a truly accurate SPAM report, your email must be sent to 20 different email addresses - commonly referred to as a "Seed List".
For each test, you will be provided with a unique Seed List - it is very important that you send your email to every address provided using the same subject line and "from" address.

Most email service providers (ESP's) allow their customers to upload their own mailing lists. This makes them vulnerable to getting blacklisted and they must be proactive about removing accounts that might adversely affect the reputation of their sending server(s).
