EOA Ice Bucket Challenge

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Hits Email on Acid

CEO John Thies Raises Awareness for ALS

Things got downright chilly at the EOA offices today when our CEO John Thies accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. As enjoyable as it was to watch the boss man get doused with some freezing cold water, it was actually for a good cause. The Ice Bucket challenge was created as a way to raise awareness for Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and has spread like wildfire across the U.S. This viral charity campaign has inspired people like Bill Gates, Cristiano Ronaldo, Taylor Swift and thousands of regular Joe’s to get covered in freezing water in an effort to bring attention to the fight against ALS. Facebook discovered that 15 million people have discussed the Ice Bucket Challenge on the site and the ALS association reported that over $13.3 million has been donated since July 29th. To commemorate our CEO getting drenched by a bucket of icy cold water we donned our EOA T-shirts and filmed every beautiful second of it. Check out the video below! We’re calling you out!

When John accepted his frigid fate, he also nominated 3 people to do the Ice Bucket Challenge within 24 hours or donate $100 to ALS. Without further ado, below are the nominees John has handpicked to participate in the Ice Bucket Challenge: Matt, Dave and Paul, will you accept? Be sure and share your Ice Bucket video with us in the comments section below and mention us on Twitter to help spread awareness for ALS (and because we really wanna see it). We encourage our readers to donate to the ALS Association. Click here and help find a cure for this devastating disease. Every dollar can make a difference.
