Getting Started with Email on Acid

Welcome to the Email on Acid video tutorial series. In this video, I’ll be discussing how to get started with the Email on Acid landing page. I’ll discuss logging in, managing your projects, and leveraging the administrative features.

First, log into the system at In the top right, click on the Login button. Enter your username and password and click login.

Once logged into the system you’ll notice that you have a left navigation menu and a top navigation bar, the left menu is used to perform functions related to email testing, content checking and analytics, while the top navigation bar houses the administrative features.

Let’s take a look at the left navigation first. At the top, you will see the link for the Inbox, this is where you will find your email tests and projects.

Below the Inbox is the Create New section. At the top is Campaign Precheck, a place to QA  your email campaign, check your deliverability, and view email previews. Below Campaign Precheck is Email Testing, this is one place where email tests can be created, the other being Campaign Precheck. Next is email editor, from here you can create new HTML from scratch, edit existing HTML, or use one of our feature templates.

You also have the option to access email testing right at the center of the dashboard. Additionally, when you have tests and projects in the system, you will be able to access them from the Recent Activity area. In-depth instructions for these features are available in other tutorials in the help center.

The last feature I’d like to highlight in the left nav bar is the Resources section, under Extras. The Resources tab includes additional help information such as Tip & Tricks, Webinars and other helpful information.

The left toolbar menu can be collapsed using the Toggle Navbar button at the very bottom. This can give you some additional real estate when working in the system.

Moving up to the top navigation bar you will see the “bell” icon. This will change color when there are important messages to read from us to you; these can vary from email client outages to website maintenance. Simply click on the bell to read them.

To the right of the bell icon is the Email and Website Status dots

The three dots showcase the overall status of our email and website previews. Green means everything is running smoothly, yellow means things are running a bit slow, and red means something may be wrong. To get more information, or go to our Status Page (, click on the “View Full Details” link in the dropdown.

Moving to the right across the top we find the Help button dropdown

Click on the “Help” link to search for Help Center articles or to reach out to our Support team. You also can leave Feedback here.

Last on this navigation bar, you will find your name with a dropdown arrow. From here, you may manage your plan, your billing information, or the users associated with your profile, should your account have privileges to do so.

Click here for a downloadable version of these step-by-step instructions for getting started.

Remember we are always here to support you so if you have any questions or run into any issues please reach out to our Support staff via the Support link under the Help dropdown. Thanks for taking the time to watch this video and happy testing!
