Mailgun Inspect incorporates the robust QA capabilities our users trust, now fully integrated into the high-performance Mailgun platform. This transition provides senders with a single, convenient platform to manage the entire email lifecycle, from pre-send testing to delivery, deliverability, and post-send analysis.
Yes. Beginning in June 2026, current Email on Acid subscription customers will start transitioning to Mailgun Inspect, our next-generation email quality assurance platform. Customers on annual plans will migrate at the end of their current term to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted experience.
Mailgun Inspect builds on the trusted capabilities of Email on Acid while introducing expanded QA tools designed to help teams test more thoroughly, streamline pre-send workflows, and send with even greater confidence. Please note that existing previews and tests will not be transferred during migration.
Current Email on Acid subscribers will receive a special migration discount for Mailgun Inspect. Details on this offer will be shared soon within the application and via email.
Mailgun Inspect includes email previews, image validation, link validation, accessibility checks, and code analysis. It allows users to test email HTML across 100+ devices and clients. The accessibility checks are based on the latest W3 Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, in line with the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
Yes, Mailgun Inspect can be used with any email service provider. This means you do not need other Mailgun products to use Mailgun Inspect.

No, if you are looking to send email via SMTP or API you need to use an email service provider like Mailgun Send.
