Hi,

I want to restrict image size. if i use max-size in my code it is working for all email clients except Outlook for desktop some versions like 2007 and 2010 etc.

sample code: In below code i want to restrict the image size to 240px irrespective of width attribute.

<img src="URL_HERE" width="500" height="240" alt="" style="width:100%;max-width:240px;" />

Can any one help?

Thanks.

Hi venkatmantra,

Unfortunately Outlook 2007, 2010, 2013 and 2016 will not respect the max-width due to a lack of support.

This blog post by my colleague Geoff on Retina images has more information about this: https://www.emailonacid.com/blog/article/email-development/fluid-retina-images-for-email

Cheers!
