Campaigner is removing image references—html error?

I am using Campaigner to deploy an email on behalf of an advertiser client.

The client created the html and I ran it through EOA Optimizer.

I then pasted the html into the EOA tester, and it displayed okay in all the different platforms.  See Outlook_2007_fromPasteHtml2.JPG

I then sent a test using Campaigner.  It displayed correctly in the preview mode.  But in all the “live” tests, the 3 icons across the center did not display.

I then sent a test to our EOA AutoProcess address and, again, the 3 icons did not display.  See Outlook_2007_fromAutoProcess2.JPG

Can anyone see that there is something wrong with the html that would cause something like this?  It appears the image references were completely wiped out.

This file contains the original html: Bluebeam DCD_October2016.html

This file contains the html I downloaded from the EOA Auto Process: eoa_from-campaigner.html (could not post 4th attachment—will post separatel)

Any insights would be much appreciated.

Vince990,

Welcome to the forum!

You are correct that the image tags have been removed. With no image tags, the images will not display. I don’t know what in the HTML would cause this change. You may want to contact Campaigner about this.

Thanks… I suspected I would have to go back to Campaigner, but wanted to see if anyone saw something in the html that might CAUSE Campaigner to remove these tags.

Geoff: We found the problem, but I’m surprised EOA didn’t catch it.  The html had <a> tags outside of the tags.  And within the tags was both an <img> and text.  The idea was to have the same hyperlink for both.  But Campaigner stripped this out.  I wrapped both the <img> and the text separately with the <a> tag, inside the tags, and everything worked perfectly.

Glad to hear you found the problem!
