Hi Sir/Madam
I am using innova editor and applying the font for the text using google fonts. In the editor i am able to see the applied font.
When i am doing acid test, my fonts are not appearing for Common Web Clients but are able to see in Mobile clients.
<link href=‘https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Allura’ rel=‘stylesheet’ type=‘text/css’>

What are the fonts that are applicable for Common Web Clients. Please provide the solution or the needful information. Please see the acid test url which i tested.

Hi Krishnam,

First of all, welcome to the Email on Acid forums!

The term we use for these fonts (such as the font you’re calling in from Google Fonts) is a web font. Web fonts have limited support across email clients. They tend to be more supported by mobile and Mac devices.

Unfortunately, not all email clients will support these web fonts. So what you’ll need to do is use necessary fall backs. I’d suggest picking fonts that fall back to common supported fonts such as Arial, Georgia, etc. Alternatively, you can fall back to sans-serif.

I also noticed in your test that in Outlook 2013, your web font is reverting back to Times New Roman, we have a handy blog post about how to fix this issue https://www.emailonacid.com/blog/article/email-development/custom-font-stacks-in-outlook

If you need any other help, let me know.

Cheers
Alex
