What if one has multiple languages, specifically Spanish and you want a text file to display the proper characters, such as an n-tilde or lowercase o-acute?

It’s easy in the actual html, but I’m trying to find the most bullet-proof way to provide a text version (.txt) that will render correctly.

Is there a way to include some type of header/BOM etc at the top that will be read some way other than just more text?
