Different Emails for Different clients???

I just signed up, ran a test, and while the email looks good on one, it looks awful on antoher, and ok on another…I am not a programmer by trait, and am self employed. So wearing many hats I have been forced to learn this….Looking at the results of my test, do I have to have different emails for different browsers, and then different emails for different DT clients? I use an auto-responder service and am wondering if there is a way to take my email and make it compatible, or at least presentable regardless of the client?? Thanks to anyone who responds….

Hello Petro,

No, generally speaking, you can’t send multiple versions of a single email and expect the email client to decipher which one to display.  You must get one email looking proper in all clients.

I would look to outsource to someone who knows the tricks of the trade, learn it yourself from reading some of our resources and boilerplate, or look to purchase an email template from an outside source.

Good luck smile

Thanks Michelle….I guess I could create emails for each client when I manually send them, but the auto-responder email I think I will outsource….any recommendations on where to go for templates? Thanks again
