When creating Newsletters, i used to add a min-width to my template body to force Gmail app to display the full-width of the desktop version. I have been using this for years now, but recently after the February update, Gmail is now taking the actual width of the newsletter and adding a horizontal scroll bar. Does anybody has any fix for this?

Please note that on the Gmail Imap version, the scrollbar doesn’t exist. And that Gmail is still not accepting Media Queries.

Can someone please help me on this.

I always use style=“width:740px; max-width:740px; min-width:740px;” in my wrapper td, which forces the Android Gmail app to show the desktop version if the code isn’t optimized for Gmail yet.

I had to deal with this problem too.

What happened is that after the big update Gmail now works with media queries but it is kind of picky with the code.

In my case my code included some attribute selectors so GMail ignored the whole code between the <style></style>.

After correcting that issue the mobile version of my email began to work.
