Embedded Images now supported.

We Now Support Embedded Images

We are excited to announce that we now support embedded image testing within our email testing suite. In case you aren’t aware, using embedded images is a technique in which the actual images are included, “embedded”, within the email. The primary reason to use embedded images is to get around the concept of image blocking within email clients. If the image is embedded inside the email, in most cases, the image will be displayed regardless if images are turned on or off.

Embedded Image Support in Email Clients

Although we support embedded images, it doesn’t necessarily mean that we suggest using this technique over referenced (hosted) images. That is due to some email clients not supporting embedded images and you could experience some deliverability problems. We leveraged our email testing suite and compiled a complete list of which email clients support and do not support the use of embedded images.
