Disney sent out this friendly, time-senstive reminder with the subject, “Last chance for guaranteed delivery by Christmas!” to encourage subscribers to order now. They paired this with a free shipping offer which surely increased their click-throughs.
The headline in the email’s center starts with “LAST DAY” to give readers a sense of urgency for their shopping. Taking center stage with dual-colored letters and a font that pops, the incentive offer is hard to miss. Follow all that with a shining tree and “Hurry & Shop Now” underneath it, and it looks like Disney has a very effective email.
A Christmas tree composed of wrapped boxes and a few choice product images should be enough to remind potential shoppers of those little people on their Christmas lists who they haven’t gotten gifts for yet. At the top of it all, an eye-catching snowflake animation with a subtle Mickey silhouette at its center communicates Disney’s holiday cheer. Cute without being complicated, colorful but easy to read, this holiday email was a favorite of ours.
