Showing clients - reports?

Is there any way to show our clients a report of a particular test?(or even the same test window with all email clients)

We have a number of clients that want proof that the email looks correct in all email clients. Your system is amazing - but unfortunately we cant show ‘client A’ the test using our login, as they will see other clients B C and D tests too..

Any ideas? Perhaps direct URLS without having to login, to we can simply send a URL to clients for preview?

Thanks Mailgloo!  I love that you created a pole.  I will have to create one for each of the features on our coming soon list, that way our users can have a say in what we do next.

But to answer your question, yes, we plan to add this feature eventually. “Send Results to a Friend” would allow you to send the results of your acid test to your clients with our without the code analysis.  That way they can approve it for final release.  Of course this feature would contain the Email on Acid brand.

The Email Testing API is also available in case our users want to private label our test results.

Personally I’d really like there to be an Outlook Express preview (even though I think it uses the same rendering engine as Outlook 2003).

Thanks. I can see that the “report” output functionality was supposed to be a “coming soon” feature a year ago. Could you update us on progress, please?
We’d need this, too.

Hello Lateral Group,

This post is a bit old so yes, we’ve made some drastic improvements and additions since 1/10.  We do currently offer a “Share Test Results” feature, that will allow you to send an email to your customers.  If they click on the link provided, they can review the test results.

We have also started adding several screen capture counterparts to our code based previews, having JPG images for each email client will make it easier for us to wrap up your test results into one, large zip file.  This is something on our radar for a future release, however I can’t provide an exact date at this time.

Hey, that’s great. Thanks.

We are currently phasing out PV (Pivotal Veracity), due to lack of supported email clients, slow and often faulty rendering, the dated interface and overall dissatisfying upgrades, responses and features.

One thing our production team needs frequently though is the ability to output an entire rendering report into an emailable PDF. This feature is so essential to our service, that they will need to continue using PV until this option is available on EoA.

It’s similar to Google Analytics (output report as PDF) and several other web tool. Would be excellent to be able to leave PV behind entirely and make EoA our dedicated rendering engine.

Lateral Group,

Thanks very much for your feedback!  We will be sure to bump this request up the top of the list especially considering the fact that this next release will include several web based screen captures.

Stay tuned, I will keep you posted.

Cheers and happy testing!
