The Google Font API and HTML Email

Google, in conjunction with Typekit, just released a new Font API that allows designers to easily import non-standard OS fonts into their web pages. The API uses the CSS @font-face rule but relies on their CDN to provide the data bandwidth, which is probably much faster than yours. After hearing about this we wanted to investigate and find out the email client support for such an API.

Announcing the Official Launch of Version 1.0!

Version 1.0 After much anticipation, we are proud to announce that our online email testing tool is no longer in Beta! Our new and improved email simulation now includes the following enhancements:

Outlook Preview Outlook 07 Email Simulation Upgrades - We now provide a rendered screenshot for Outlook 07 along with Microsoft’s translation of your original code.
Image Blocking Enhanced Image Blocking - Now our test provides an exact simulation for image blocking.
Email Test Archive Email Test Archive - You can now run a test in Firefox, then login using IE and preview the same test by using our archive feature.
Gmail Email Preview, Hotmail Preview, Yahoo Preview G-mail, Yahoo-Classic, and Hotmail Simulation Enhancements - We have included special rules to accommodate for the translation procedures used by G-mail, Yahoo-Classic and Hotmail.
Email CSS Default Style Sheets - We have refined our methods for keeping our default email client style sheets up to date.

Email Testing is now Supported in the Top 5 Web Browsers!

Version 1.0 is supported in the top 5 web browsers including Firefox, Opera, Safari, Chrome, and Internet Explorer!
