White Label API

Our White Label API is completely customizable and you can utilize any or all of the features provided.  Such features include the code analysis, text generator, image blocking, CSS conversion, and SPAM analysis tools.

We offer two distinct integration options for our White Label API. The first is a Reseller Program designed to help you generate additional revenue from your current member base.  The second is a Monthly Membership allowing for unlimited Acid Tests. Each program is designed to help you provide a value added service to your existing members.

All of the prices provided on this website are USD and are subject to change up until the point in which a signed contract is in place.

Reseller Program

The Reseller Program allows you to charge your customers on a “per test” basis.  You can mark up our flat rate per test as much as you want.  Each “test” includes a preview in each of the email clients that we support, a SPAM analysis, code analysis, CSS conversion, and our tips and tricks. When you implement our API, you can choose which options you’d like to make available to your customers.

The monthly flat rate fees per test are as follows:

As you can see above, our flat rate is discounted based on monthly volume.

Free Test Preview for Resellers
In an effort to help you sell our Acid Test, we have added a free offering to our Reseller Program.  Much like the current Email on Acid website, your users can preview their email in AOL, Gmail, and Outlook 03 for free.  From there, they can choose to purchase the full Acid Test.  It is stated in our contract that you must also offer the paid test to your customers.  We will not partner with companies who are only looking to implement our free preview.

Minimum Fees for using the Reseller API
Due to the fact that the free preview requires bandwidth and support , resellers are required to pay a minimum balance of $100/month to use the Reseller Program API.  The cost for full tests are deducted from this fee until you reach $100/month USD.  For example, if your members purchase 55 tests for the month, you will be billed $110 USD.

Payment Processing:
Due to the fact that you maintain your own member profile data, we recommend that you process the payments for each full Acid Test.  Our API will return a complete test result.  We recommend that you archive your members’ test results so that they can retrieve them whenever they want to.

Email on Acid will send monthly invoices which are due upon receipt.

Monthly Subscription

This program is designed for providers who wish to absorb the monthly fees for their members.  In this case, you pay a royalty fee based on the number of tests that are run per month.  Prices per bracket are discounted based on volume.  In this model, you may end up in a different price bracket based on user activity for each month.

After you reach 73,000 tests per month, every test thereafter will be charged .16 cents/test.

Technology
Our application programming interface was built using RESTful Web Services.  Therefore, when you send a request to our system, we will return a result in XML format.  From a technology standpoint, you have complete control over the way you display, archive,  and track each API request.

We also provide you with our standard user interface and a framework for the look and feel.  However,  this is not a requirement - if you want, you can use your own interface design and user interaction tools for displaying email simulations.

Control your Spending
It may be difficult to predict exactly how many of your users will run Acid Tests and how often.  This is obviously a valid concern.

Essentially you would be given an EOA account number and all requests through our API will be billed to you at the end of the month. In order to control costs, some of our clients limit the number of Acid Tests that each of their members can run per month.  Here is a scenario:

If you have 100 members and you limit each of them to 10 tests/month, they will run a maximum of 1,000 tests.  Under our Monthly API Subscription, that would cost you $300/month.

OR

If you have 50 members and you limit them to 1 test/month you will essentially run a maximum of 50 tests/month.  In this case, you may consider our reseller program.  At a flat rate of $2/test, our API would then cost you $100/month.  Or you could offer them 1 test and then charge a flat rate per test thereafter.

From a business perspective there are many ways in which you can recoup that fee.  Some of our clients create a new membership level for their users with unlimited access to our testing environment, others include it in their membership fees with a limited amount of tests allowed per month.
